Over the last few months, we have been able to identify other believers in our neighborhood and fortunate enough that they are willing to meet with us monthly. We go over “The Art of Neighboring” as a study together and end the night in some prayer.
The community is beautiful – all different backgrounds, cultures, church up-bringing, philosophy of theologies, etc – yet we all want to see His Kingdom come and glorified in our literal neighborhood called The Willows.
We went over this passage and it has just been sticking in my mind and heart ever since…..
Acts 17:26-27: From one man He has made every nationality to live over the whole earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live. He did this so they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.Think about it. He has you in your home, your neighborhood, your city, your state for a specific reason! Where you live is not just by random chance. You are appointed to be right where are. Why? Because through how you live and love, others might see Jesus and therefore seek and find Him!
This is our desire for Fiducia. Its the heart beat behind it all.
My hope is that this verse in Acts gives you answers, insight and encouragement in whatever living situation you are in!
